Hsia, Fritillaria przewalskii Maxim., Fritillaria delavayi Franch., Fritillaria taipaiensis P.Y. Li, or Fritillaria unibracteata Hsiao et K.C. Hsia var. wabuensis (S.Y. Tang et S.C. Yue) Z.D. Liu, S. Wang et S.C. Chen of the Liliaceae family. According to their morphological characteristics, they are commonly classified into four types: "Song Bei", "Qing Bei", "Lu Bei", and cultivated varieties. These materials are harvested during the summer or autumn seasons, or after the snow melts. After collection, the roots, coarse skin, and dirt are removed, and the bulbs are then dried in the sun or through low-temperature drying.
