Geranium Essential Oil is extracted from the dried aerial parts of the following plants in the Geraniaceae family: Erodium stephanianum Willd. (commonly termed "Long-beaked Geranium"); Geranium wilfordii Maxim.; Geranium carolinianum L. (both termed "Short-beaked Geranium"). The raw materials are harvested in late summer to autumn when fruits approach maturity, then bundled and sun-dried prior to extraction.
