Application
Mainly used for the following symptoms:
1.Alleviating Respiratory Discomfort:
The volatile nature of eugenol and cineole in clove basil oil (Ocimum gratissimum oil) may help alleviate mild respiratory symptoms such as nasal congestion and coughing via steam inhalation or topical application (diluted). However, avoid direct inhalation of excessive amounts to prevent mucosal irritation.
2.Promotes digestive function:
Traditionally used in herbal medicine, diluted basil oil (Ocimum basilicum oil) applied via abdominal massage may stimulate gastrointestinal smooth muscle to relieve bloating or mild indigestion, but must be used with caution to avoid skin sensitivity.
