Peppermint Extract is prepared through the following process:
Fresh peppermint stems and leaves are washed and air-dried, then cryogenically ground into 40-60 mesh particles. The powder undergoes three rounds of extraction with purified water (each batch boiled for 1.5-2 hours). The three batches of extract are combined, then concentrated via a vacuum filtration and concentration system.
