Cibotium Barometz Oil

Cibotium Barometz Oil is extracted from the dried rhizome of Cibotium barometz (L.) J.Sm. (family Dennstaedtiaceae).
The rhizomes are harvested in autumn and winter, followed by:

• Soil removal and drying;
• Preparation of raw slices: Hard roots, petioles, and golden-yellow fluff are removed, then cut into thick slices and dried;
• Preparation of processed slices: Rhizomes are steamed until 60-70% dried, cut into thick slices, and fully dried.
